The impeccable Raf Simons teams up with iconic British clothing brand Fred Perry again to show homage to British music and youth culture. Raf’s personal style bleeds in every piece in this progressive yet timeless collection, playing with vibrant colours including bronze, brass and green, anchored by industrial greys and dark blue.
“When I started out, I focused on youth and subcultures, and Fred Perry was one of my many inspirations.”

The Fred Perry shirt is reinterpreted once more; contrast colour collars and plackets, and chunky rib hems. T-shirts with raglan sleeves, striped cotton shirts with a boxy fit and deep hems on sweatshirts are all examples of Raf gently reworking the brand’s silhouettes.
Raf’s focus on bold yet minimal design creates a sense of uniformity throughout the collection. Referencing traditional tailoring with vertical stripes on the roll neck jumper and shirt, and the bold statements seen in the knitted intarsia across the crew neck jumper or the zip jacket and ringed collar on the cotton and fleece sweatshirt.
Shot on location at The 100 Club, London; Fred Perry commissioned director Sharna Osbourne to produce a video look-book for the A/W17 collection, featuring muse/model Montell Martin.
