The iconic sportswear brand, Champion, has opened the doors to its newest and most innovative retail space: the Champion Index + Archives Saint Honoré Store in Paris. Nestled in the heart of one of Paris’s most vibrant street culture districts, this store is designed not only to showcase Champion’s rich heritage and craftsmanship but also to create a dynamic meeting spot for local and international consumers.

The Champion Index + Archives store showcases the brand’s century-long legacy. This unique retail space features several of Champion’s renowned lines, including Made in US, True To Archives, Reverse Weave, and Champion Index & Archives. Each collection highlights the brand’s dedication to quality and its storied past.

True to Archives is a particular standout, featuring meticulously reproduced garments from Champion’s extensive archives. These pieces include the iconic 1938 Rabart patent and the seminal 1952 Reverse Weave model, both of which have played pivotal roles in shaping the brand’s reputation for durability and style.

Champion Index & Archives delves deep into the brand’s 100+ year history, blending modern aesthetics with vintage inspirations. This collection celebrates Champion’s detailed craftsmanship, which has long set the gold standard for everyday garments.

Following the creative vision displayed at Champion’s Paris showroom during the last Paris Fashion Week, the new store’s design was brought to life by Atelier UTO. The store features playful and changeable layouts that highlight both sportswear and streetwear aesthetics. The innovative use of aluminium fixtures, reminiscent of factory production lines, combined with ash wood elements, gives the store a warm yet industrial feel, reflecting Champion’s heritage.

One of the store’s unique features is the personalization workshop booth at the cash area. Decorated with custom-made flags showcasing Champion’s labels over the years, this space allows customers to create their own custom Tee designs. This interactive element not only personalizes the shopping experience but also connects customers more closely with the brand’s history.

More than just a retail space, the Champion Index + Archives store is designed to be a hub for creativity and connection. The chill seating area, crafted from aluminium and wood tubes and adorned with graphic industrial straps featuring the store’s coordinates, provides a welcoming space for customers to relax and engage with the brand. This new store is not just about selling clothes; by offering a space for creators to express their talents through the custom area, Champion is fostering a sense of community and collaboration among its customers.

Located at 93 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, the Champion Index + Archives store is now open to the public. It operates from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7:30 pm.
