Richard Anderson opened it’s doors on London’s iconic Savile Row back in 2001, and with an undying passion for the impeccable history of tailoring on the Row, Anderson drives forward with a contemporary approach for the modern gent. This is proven in their latest collaboration with artist/stylist Barry Kamen for their AW/14 look-book. Kamen provided artistic direction and styling for the look-book.
“The free-flowing handwriting that floats in front and behind of the masterful cutting, clean lines and bold colours of Richard Anderson’s suits, help to emphasise the hand-made craft and expertise which is the signature of a Richard Anderson suit,” explains Kamen. He adds, “the quotes are taken from another great British master of clean lines, William Shakespeare. In doing so, we have acknowledged the past, to inform the present and enrich the future.”
.The tailoring in Richard Anderson’s AW/14 collection is truly outstanding; the contemporary cut’s are infused with classic styling, resulting in a modern aesthetic that appeals across the generations.
