Amsterdam-based Filling Pieces are now producing their own custom-made soles and so it inspired the title ‘LET US CREATE’, campaign, as they now have full creative control over all aspects of their shoe design. The campaign to promote the brands SS17 Collection was filmed/shot in beautiful Madagascar, and features a staggering 600 new styles containing 14 new silhouettes and 5 new custom Filling Pieces sole innovations. The fashion film and images are an inspiration and represent the brands aspirations beautifully.

“Being the ultimate expression of nature’s creativity, Madagascar was the perfect location for our SS17 campaign shoot. An island that split from the Indian peninsula around 88 million years ago, the native plants and animals have evolved in relative isolation. It is a biodiversity hotspot, 90% of the wildlife there is found nowhere else on Earth. For a brand such as Filling Pieces which draws so much inspiration from nature and cultures, it was the ideal backdrop for our most creative and diverse collection to date. From the Baobab trees and fishing communities of Morondova, to the unique, alien-like rock formations of Tsingy Ankarana and Tsingy Rouge, the ever-changing landscape charts the journey of the collections synthesis.”
