When Malte Flagstad, creative director of Tonsure was designing a new warm coat for the Scandinavian brands’ Autumn Winter 2015 collection, he got ‘hit by nostalgia’ and instantly thought of the cuddly material of a teddy bear, and nobody makes a better bear than the world famous German manufacture Steiff. It was then that Malte decided to collaborate with Steiff to help him design the new Tonsure pea coat, made from the warmest comfy teddy bear material. The collection also features an array of toasty woollen suits and quaint shirts with lovely embellishments of colour and patterns.
