Next month we release the newly re-branded Client Style UK, and we have plucked this feature from the issue for you to take a look at…
When you hear the word boots there really aren’t many brands that spring to mind, however one that certainly does is Timberland. The iconic all American brand that was founded back in 1918 by Nathan Swartz when he was just an apprentice in the stitching world. Through the years Swartz grew the brand from just a simple boot company with the help of his sons, into a outdoors wear giant, adding jackets, sunglasses, watches amongst many other other beautifully crafted items into their arsenal.
With a passionate ethos of ‘doing well and doing good’, Timberland have adapted and reinvented their outdoors wear for the adventures of the modern man. The latest problem Timberland wanted to tackle, was the range of surroundings people find themselves in within their fast and varying 21st century lives…
“The weather and terrain can change in an instance when you’re out for a walk or taking a city stroll. But the solution doesn’t have to be as dramatic as the problem“
Their solution was a clever Sensorflex Technology that is a very unique boot sole. Formed of a three-layer outsole. The first being a firm upper layer that supports and stabilises feet, followed by a second layer that focuses on absorbing shock and tricky terrain impact, and a bottom layer of flexible grooves and traction pods, that instantly adapts to any surface. The boots themselves are designed to impeccable class and elegance as you can expect from any Timberland product, check them out for yourselves in the pictures below.
