When Pepe Calderin Design sought inspiration for the best in furniture, upholstery, lighting, and accessories for its client’s 3,800 square feet residence on the Upper East Side, New York, Covet House was the obvious choice.
Since Pepe Calderin Designs’ client was an art aficionado, it was paramount that the furnishings reflected the client’s taste. It was decided that everything in the spacious dwelling should be a conversation piece. All of the furniture, lighting fixtures, stone finishes, accessories, and art should grab one’s attention. To further achieve that goal, a hip, funky style was created with the use of rich colours of maroon and deep blue. The entire vibe was very Rock ‘n’ Roll done in a manner not to compete, but to complement the artwork.
