During our media trip to New York last Autumn and having arrived very late from London, we slept beautifully in a luxurious Residence Suite at the 5* Langham Place Hotel on iconic Fifth Avenue. Rested and settled in, we stepped down for a late breakfast at the hotel’s Ai Fiori Restaurant (which was so good we decided to book for Thanksgiving).
We tucked into an ideal jet lag recovery: classic Eggs Benedict, served on an English muffin with parmacotto ham and hollandaise sauce, all washed down with a freshly squeezed, pulpy orange juice.
Light, but filling, and providing ample fuel for a day packed with sightseeing as we set off into New York City. We also sampled a simple omelette with classic American streaky bacon and wholemeal toast.
