This June, Ireland welcomes back the Body&Soul Festival, a celebration of wellbeing, diversity, art and music. Now in its 9th year, the festival is running the theme of Alchemy as 2018’s creative word to be interpreted by guests, either through costumes, ideas, performance or even mindset.
The midsummer festival falls on the weekend solstice and has plenty to offer at its unique location. Surrounded by woodlands, Body&Soul takes place in the beautiful grounds of Ballinlough Castle. It invites you to a multi-sensory experience, immersing you into a world of bold art and fresh musical acts. Not only is it a place to delve into Irish culture, but it is rich in its creativity and wellbeing values.
From June 22-24, international and emerging musicians will take to distinctive, handcrafted stages, whilst wood-fired hot tubs and seaweed baths at the Spa offer rejuvenating and therapeutic treatments. The Sanctuary tent focuses on health and happiness, from therapy advisors and yogis, to sound healers and masseuses.
Body&Soul’s 2018 line-up showcases the talents of Fever Ray, Baxter Dury, Chronixx and Jon Hopkins. Discover the world-class acts due to grace the stage and take a look at the complete list online now. Visitors will find themselves amid trance, dance, pop and acoustic environments, where like-minded individuals come to rest, relax and immerse themselves into a green and creative community.
With vibrant art installations and relaxing experiences inside the wellbeing areas, the festival includes an exciting program of children events, insightful workshops and locally sourced food for gourmet dining.
