The La Dolce Vita Orient Express draws inspiration from the joyful spirit of Italy during the 1960s, an era known as “La Dolce Vita” (the sweet life). This period saw significant cultural and artistic growth in the nation. The train itself reflects this attention to design, crafted with a focus on details inspired by the craftsmanship of the 1960s and 70s.
Inside, travellers will find interiors that evoke the elegance and sophistication of this bygone era. You can expect 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites, and the “La Dolce Vita” suite – all appointed with luxurious amenities. The train’s restaurant, lounge, and bar will act as social hubs, promising a refined atmosphere against the backdrop of Italy’s finest scenery.

With its first departures scheduled for Spring 2025, the La Dolce Vita Orient Express aims to offer a new perspective on luxury train travel. Its arrival in April 2024 marks a pivotal moment in travel history. Reservations will be officially open to the public in April 2024. Starting prices range from €3,500 for a deluxe cabin to €4,700 for a suite (based on a one-night itinerary).
