Il Trespolo Villa, Italy
Il Trespolo is a contemporary villa immersed in the natural landscape and wild nature of Lake Garda’s hills. The house is suspended on pillars (instead of being supported by walls) in order to preserve the natural course of water and avoid excessive digging of the ground in the construction process. While it was built, special attention was also given to preserving the life of plants and animals who live in the surrounding area, which is worldwide recognised for its exceptionally high biodiversity.
