Built in 1718, Hazlitt’s Hotel is the former home of famous author William Hazlitt hosts an array of history and literary content. Owned by Peter McKay and Douglas Blain the hotel has become a well-known establishment with them winning the César Award for London Hotel of the Year 2002. The hotel is named after the essayist who died in the house in 1830.

The hotel is made up of 4 Georgian townhouses, with a variant of room sizes and expenses. It has 30 rooms in total ranging from 3 singles, 24 doubles, 2 junior suites, and 1 suite named the Duke of Monmouth.

The stunning rooms host bundles of character including the sloping walls and creaky floorboards. The unique rooms are named after people who visited in Hazlitts’ day. With luxe in mind, the spaces include free-standing baths, products from REN skincare, and Hazlitt’s robes.

Light snacks are available in the minibars, within rooms, or through room service & the staff of Hazlitt’s are more than happy to attend to your every need. Breakfasts are excluded from the price, but a breakfast card is available for guests when entering the hotel.
