Internationally acclaimed chef Rob Roy Cameron and drinks specialist Tony Conigliaro have launched their first joint project together – Gazelle, a restaurant in Mayfair, London. The 2,500 sqft space is over two storey’s and will serve as cafe, bar and restaurant, with all-day dining.
Located in an Edwardian 1820’s building on Trophaeum’s Mayfair Estate, at number 48 Albemarle Street, the restaurant space seats 32 in the main dining room, with 6 in the downstairs cocktail bar and a further 36 in the upstairs bar and lounge. Gazelle will serve lunch, dinner and bar snacks.
Tony explains, “I always wanted to open a place where the food stood equal with the drinks and would be a complete destination in its own right. With Rob, I’ve been lucky enough to discover someone who works and thinks like me and just gets it. We spent months looking at various sites but knew as soon as we walked into this one that it would afford us the space and scope to really make it into something special for both of us.”
