Leading luxury fashion retailer Matchesfashion.com have launched their successful ‘Shop with…’, concept for their menswear edit, where they hand pick digital influencers to curate exclusive looks from their latest collections. To introduce the concept, they have teamed up with model/artist Sang Woo Kim, who selected favourite pieces that represent his free spirit and artist lifestyle.
“As an artist, there is no set time or duration ‘working’ is constant, it’s ‘living’. This project is a timeline curated by my lifestyle that is made most intimate and personal to me through the act of self-portraiture. Matchesfashion.com has allowed me the opportunity to show the intimacy of being in my most personal space, my home and my studio, painting, outdoors, getting ready, lounging…. It represents and defines the scene that I have portrayed through my self-portraits.” said Sang Woo Kim.
Whilst studying for his Fine Art degree at Goldsmiths, he forged a successful modelling career working with a huge list of global brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Belstaff, Neil Barrett, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Philipp Plein, Katie Eary and Pringle of Scotland to name just a few! During this period, he had already been noticed for his talents as an artist.
