The latest edition of Beauty Rebel is out now, sister title to CLENT, also published by Ian Cole and a champion of ‘natural’ beauty. Most of the magazine is photographed using analogue camera’s so from the issue after this (released in March), Beauty Rebel will be 100% analogue and instant photography only. Historically, the magazine intends to shy away from unnecessary Beauty retouching, due to the level of completely insane over the top retouching seen in many of the world’s top magazines these days, especially with celebrities, and we will be taking that further. Screw being fake. The future issues will also be printed in casebound hardback, for people who appreciate real beauty and authentic photography. Something that will stand the test of time.
This issue (#6) features modern beauty Avery Tharp at Photogenics/Next LA who features on both the front cover and back cover, in two different shoots. The front cover was photographed by Cully Wright in Malibu and styled by Julia Platt-Hepworth, whilst the back cover was shot by Carolina Palmgren in L.A. and styled by our New York fashion editor, Jules Wood. The issue is available for ordering in print now and instant download is available too.
